Hey, you want the black power mirrors too....

Certainly so. That will be the 1 and only way, you'd get the chrome "Dumbo" mirrors off my trucks. Is to retrofit with some 90-91 Power mirrors.

But power Dumbos would work as well? :D

The only reason I want the 1990-91 mirrors is for the base, really. Because I want to try to adapt later model power folding, heated, auto-dimming with signal mirrors.

I just think they look funny, not as bad on a lifted truck as a lowered, but either way power or not, they just look DUMbo

I think this thread just went gay. Lots of talk about faggety ass mirrors on a truck for gods sake. I could see if you had a lowered or bagged street cruiser, but damn, for a truck put some real mirrors on it. I think GM made a good choice. There, that's my feelings.

They sure beat those biggo Cal style mirrors that mount on the top and bottom of the door frame. GM ran those mirrors thru what was it 94? Then 95 they went the below level black power mirrors. I like those too, but for SB, I like the chrome paddle mirrors. As stated, I'd only trade for some power mirrors, and power heated mirrors with signals and power folding would be cool. I had those on my Avy too. Loved 'em.
