I had to make some changes in the electronics to make the HomeLink work and honestly, I'd rather just put in an overhead console than to do it again.

I do have some compass/temp mirrors though, they aren't the dual display though.

There's a few write ups on it running around the web. Here's a summary of what I have...

GM wire harness color // function
PIN 1 PINK // POWER +12 volts
PIN 2 BK // CHASSIS, GND
PIN 3 LT GRN // BACKUP LIGHTS
PIN 4 GY // TO AUTO DIM OUTSIDE MIRROR
PIN 5 PINK // TO AUTO DIM OUTSIDE MIRROR
PIN 6 DR GRN/WT // TEMP PROBE
PIN 7 BK/WT // TEMP PROBE

you only need to hook up 4 wires on the mirror, power and ground and the other 2 wires run to the temp sensor where ever you mount it. best to put it infront of the grill.
PIN 1 PINK // POWER +12 volts
PIN 2 BK // CHASSIS, GND
PIN 6 DR GRN/WT // TEMP PROBE
PIN 7 BK/WT // TEMP PROBE

Youll need a total of 4 wires for this installation. The 3 wires just leave alone. Just cut and isolate so they dont touch each other.

Retro may even have a cleaner summary than this

Not a complete harness but enough to work with. The hardest part is running the wires. And yes, temp sensor is included.

Old's post above is a fine diagram, but I'd put the temp sensor behind the grill, not in front.
