$600 for some headers is far past ridiculous. Are you bracket racing for mega dollars or ?

did you see what they sent me? I'm pretty particular when it comes to quality. a lot of guys on here suggest Dougs and they don't even start until $500. I don't mind spending a little extra to get what I want. while I didn't think I'd have to spend more than $300 to be happy, apparently I do. if you think about it, the expansion pipe(header) on my wife's little cr85
dirt bike cost as much as the headers I just got. puts it into perspective for me, anyway. so I have to work an extra day this week, I'll live.

I have mild OCD. just how I was raised. it helps me achieve more than it is a detriment. although I do check all the locks on my house and gates a few times before I leave in the morning.

Fenderwell headers would be cool, lol.

I've never seen Hedmans look that crappy before either. Those are just terrible.

I'm about to buy the Elites for my 84 K2500. Do they clear the auto shifter linkage??

Like shortbed said , dont cheap out on headers , I perfer doug thorley tri y's , bolt them on and re torque once , done deal. really good routing as well.If you want to save a bit go with hedman elite , I tried those on my blazer to save a bit of cash , (my wheeler) and they have been great. You want to look for 14 gauge tube's and 3/8 flange thickness and they are around 400.00 . Cheap , thin headers are nothing but problems.

I think it depends on the trans. I had a 700r4 and they wouldn't have cleared with out some funky bends from an exhaust shop. It was a very good excuse to put in a cable operated floor shifter, which I love.

ha wow. I think I'll forgo attempting to fit those to my truck lol.

since y'all are thinking this is a fluke from hedman, I decided to give them one more try. fingers crossed. I just ordered these: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/hed-63088 they list for over $800 on hedman's website but summit sells them for $523 . they are "BLACK MAXX CERAMIC COATED"

I tried checking the fitment guide on hedman's website, but they only go up to k20, no k30... says they fit the same year k20 though. you guys think there's much of a difference from k20 to k30 in the same year as far as fit?
