Looking to possibly re-wire my 73 and have seen a few kits from American Autowire as well as Painless Performance. Thinking of something like this, http://www.americanautowire.com/shop/power-plus-20-kit, but not sure just which one would be the best fit as they have quite a big range. Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know about anything but those other companies. I have only used Painless and found them to be top notch. btw do you still have a breaker point distributor? if you do you must have the correct resistance wire in the kit for the coil or you must use an external resistor. highdesertranger

I just got through installing an American Autowire wiring harness in my 1956 chevy I've been restoring. I was very pleased with it. All the wires were factory colors with the correct ends and plugs. Made for a real neat and easy job.

Yeah I'm kind of leaning toward American Autowire as well. Summit has a great kit for $70 less than American sells it on their site. Should do everything I need.
