Why is This Blue?

I never noticed they went back to blue in the mid nineties. I wish it was still an option ont the trucks now. That all black bowtie just looks too trailer park for me. I guess it doesn't really matter, the new truck I ordered is a GMC anyway.

The hood ornament should be worth a little something if it’s in good shape. I’d wager $50-$75 for decent to good shape.

I'd second that. The last week or so I've been looking on ebay for the regular, non-diesel hood ornament and and seems like it'll take at least $50 to get a good one. I saw a decent one for $29ish buy it now a couple days ago - kicking myself for not jumping on it right away cause next time I looked it was sold.
