I don't mean to sound like a dumb kid by asking this question but I feel as if my truck aught to be able to at least bark the tires from a dead standstill with my foot off the break. I need to know if it is a problem with an oversized carb or just the way its adjusted. When I give it anything over half throttle all I get is bog. I just replaced my plugs last night and everything seems to be firing good. Idle is good. I know the engine can breathe good (new air intake and true duals to glass packs) I just don't understand why I am still getting the bog. She runs like a dream if I am just driving her like its supposed to be driven but If I ever get in a situation where I need to pass someone or get off from a stoplight in a hurry its not going to happen.

Setup is in sig.

Not sure, I'd have to look at them. My brother in law said he used to drive my truck back when it was still TBI and it would "roast em".

I should mention I am only rolling on 31's too.

Is there any way of knowing that without a timing light?

Would going from 29's to 31's be enough to cause that, Jim?

Absolutely so. Especially considering the tire type and width.
