I'd be happy with 12mpg. save your money.

I wholly disagree. 12mpg is pathetic for that truck
:imo:
I also loathe with great disdain the retrofitting of new technology into old technology and believe that a Quadrajet would yield better economy than a 2bbl for your application.

Additionally I believe a Quadrajet would get better gas mileage than a Holley -at the cost of top end power.
Says the guy that bought a Holley refurb 4160 (600).

^ That one guy said TBI and I really like that idea! - Never thought about it for I6 but TBI kicks ass...everybody knows that. What's the name of that place in AUSTIN -what builds fancy custom ones? Bro - I would axe them what they could dos for yous. If you gotta go EFI, I can only support retrofitting FACTORY PARTS.

WAIT A MINUTE!

mother ******! I've been looking for just the chance to turn this ******** back around lemme go get the pix. How do ya feeeel about this sticker man?

It's all good @Rusty Nail ,it's staying GM. But it is getting a 2G first. I have never ran one, and have never rebuilt one. We'll see this play out together. 12 mpgs is what the current 350 gets. Hoping with the increased efficiency of the 292, that it will get in the 16 to 18 range.

It's interesting that it looks like it already has the bosses cast in it to drill for fuel injectors.

That's what I'm seeing too. Unless it's for nitrous.
