I’m getting so frustrated and at a loss trying to figure out this dash issue. No blown fuses. All new bulbs, sockets and printed circuit. No lights work except my right turn signal. All lights work as they should on the outside but nothing on the inside. And I can’t figure out where the clock plugs into on the fuse box.

Check the grounds- there is a ground bus bar over by the emergency brake on the kick panel- I think on an 82 it will be behind the left lower a/c vent on the kick panel. Make sure it is making good contact and the black wires are plugged into it securely. Also- just in case- your pull knob for headlights rotates to brighten & dim dash lights- make sure it's not turned down. I will also mention- if you are using LEDs they might be in backwards (rotate them 180 degrees)- some LEDs are polarized-electricity has to flow through them in a certain direction.

Clock usually will be plugged into fuse block in front in a batt slot. -see attachment

It has to be a ground. Regular bulbs. All new. I’ll look at the clock tomorrow. I have it plugged in the block but the fuse block I forgot where I unplugged it from.

Make extra certain the plug into the gauge circuit board is completely engaged, especially with the ground slot. My 79 gave me fits until I verified the plug was properly installed. Operator error on my part. The ground wasn't properly engaged.

I’m thinking a ground issue too, however my right turn signal flashes when on and the plug is plugged in. I’ll check one last time then say screw it.

On my Red longstepper thread I ran into lighting issues with the cluster. The largest problem turned out to be the connection to the firewall. On the red truck it was tagged onto the parking brake and I only happened to catch it on complete accident when I drove the truck home at night. Check your grounds. Make sure you have a good battery to frame/motor then frame motor to cab then gauge cluster to cab. Also check the printed circuit.
Both the 81 and 82 K10's I have here have the ground thing on the parking brake assembly

Its post #50 in this thread that covers it. The dash lights started working and other things started working after fixing this issue.

If you don't see a spot at the heater controls for that, it goes to the ash tray. My wiring diagram shows a 4 place plug with gray, yellow and black wires labeled radio power.
