The bruthas gotta have something to drive too, and this would be a good fit. Not for me, but we are all differant and someone obviously likes it or he wouldn't have built it.
That's a fact, noone will ever get out of a square body what they put in it. Not even the cost of parts and materials. But then consider your time. Even at minumum wage and all the hours spent, its not recoverable. You have to be doing it for the love and passion of the project and that goes for any project not just SB's. Honestly, If I ever get to complete one of my projects, it'll never be sold. Its only priceless to me, not anyone else. As 077 has in his siggy, only thing in the garage that doesn't have a price tag. Although, I do challenge myself to make my projects as quality as possible for cheap as possible. Example, like buying that 700r4 and NP241C transfer case for $100, then selling the NP241 for $100. So now I got a FREE 89 GOOD prefferable core to build. I did the same thing for a truck bed. Bought rolling frame only with the bed on it for $100. Sold the lowering kit for $50, sold the rear end for $100, scrapped the rest for $20 and kept the bed. Now I got a good FREE truck bed and tailgate, plus $70 to buy my rebuild kit for the 700r4. Now I got a FREE truck bed, and a FREE 700r4 with exception of my time !!! That's How I Roll !!! I love FREE **** !!!
