Back in April the steering column in the basket case decided to break. Well I finally decided to fix said issue tonight...... ok I started the repair process tonight. if you look at the pictures of the column you will see that there was a piece that was a slip fit collar with some sort of cheesy clip as a retainer and the retainer broke........ oops! Tomorrow night I'm going to tack weld those 2 pieces together. Now I do say that young and cheek since I can *almost* get two pieces of metal to weld together. Any suggestions (other than new column with tilt steering)?Thanks
