Guys, in another post a few months ago I posted about the combo fuel and tach gauge that goes in the big hole to replace the giant fuel gauge. Well that is finally installed and working (both fuel and tach) but now I have speedo problems. It reads very slow. Won't even come off peg until I'm going at least 10 mph, maybe 15. At 50 mph it probably reads about 25 now. Worked spot on before. Thoughts? I do have a '90 parts rig with VSS, should I try to use the circuit board from that one? Other thoughts?

Thanks, Dave

Speedo problem solved! Took it apart and put it back together (this time did not put the gauge lens or bezel on) and now it works fine. Needle must have not been installed correctly on the coil's pin.
