Having a house fall on you has to be much worse than having a truck fall on you.
i'd rather be crushed by a house than a truck. the house is bigger, and will likely kill you faster.

That what I meant when I said you wouldn't feel it. You might suffer a few minutes from a truck, but a house, I'd say lights out right now, no pain. :grd:

I know a couple people who had a car or truck fall on them and they walked away, minus a finger or two though. I've never met anyone who survived a house falling on them though. And if it fell on you just wrong, it could be a bad way to go. Floor joists on 16" centers could leave a good enough void for you to feel it for a little longer than you'd want to. At least if a car falls on you, you might stand a chance of someone getting it off you, but a house...you're ******.

I only KNEW one. 2 wheels up on the curb, other 2 wheels up on the jack. He slid under the car on the jacked up side and the last thing he ever saw was the undercarriage.

I found a 20 ton at the dump one time that would leak down ever so slowly. I added a little power steering stop leak to it and it still works fine after 15 plus years. I used it to build a press but I'd think twice before I jacked a house with it........ but knowing me I'd do it anyways. :)

Ohhhhh Lord, please don't be telling Dave that. He'll be on the 5 o'clock late breaking news with his feet hanging out from under house just like that pic of that chick up there in an earlier post.

I'll test it to jack up my 3/4 ton truck so I can change a brake cable.
