Hey everyone, just picked up some new tires for the '88 r20. It has factory rims and I can't visualize what the tires mounted with lettering pointed out would look like. Anyone got a picture? Otherwise I'll probably just go lettering in.

In this case I personally think letters in would look best. Letters out on a 4x4. I think I have a picture, I'll look.

I vote letters out. I have always liked them that way.

I'm a letters in guy. They're not giving you any money off to advertise for them.

I like the letters out contrast on darker paint. With your two-tone paint, I would let the white stripe do the talking and run blackwalls.

I would go letters out for the old school look. Plus everybody and their brother goes letters in.

White letters look good but you have to keep your tires clean.

Letters out IMO. Even looks good with stock OEM wheels and dog dish OEM hub caps.

I like the letters in. Letters out can look good with the right paint combo but eventually those white letters turn yellow, then brown................

Bleach-white and a good brass bristled brush works wonders on white letters.

Always white letters out, and for those who say you are not advertising for them, you drive a huge billboard with someones name on it already..

Truck with large sidewall tires need something to break all the black up.
