Merchandisiing Option, means its part of a package.

Means it's one of the 11,552 1990 C2500 trucks that came with the Muncie 4 speed transmission.

Ok, Well when I ran vin at for the rpo codes. It said theres only 2 other trucks like it under the rarity of it.

Compnine is a bit vague about that...Says there is only 1 Blazer like mine and I know of 1 other optioned exactly like mine.

And is has to be identical to match too. If that other blazer was like yours and had a pin stripe, then its differant.

So there are only 2 truck like yours Dave, down to colors, options and all. There might 30 other, but they are Auto trans, or 10 others, but have 4.10 gears instead. Its identical trucks. Don't go thinking you got a diamond in the rough and list it on CL for $100K cuz there were only 2 like yours and the other have done been crushed and you have the only 1 left in existance.

OH, I'm just saying, any one minor detail could make it differant. Maybe you had 3.73 gears, he had 3.42, maybe you had the spare tire lock, he didn't. All it takes is for 1 minor differance and they are differant.

Oh, I know...But we compared compnine reports and they were freakin' IDENTICAL. Both said there were 1 truck like ours.

Bummer, and what are the odds of finding another one wene compnine says not another but you find one. unless maybe there are bunches and compnine didn't catch it.

I'm not sure what type of algorithm compnine uses to calculate the info...

I ran into the same thing with my Cutlass convertible.
