I will look more closely tonight, but it is a Quadrajet carb with some wires connected to it. If it is computer controlled, does that open more windows of opportunity for things to troubleshoot?

Problem found.

The two on the left are the worst and were the same two that had the spark plug wires burn thru from resting against the header pipe. 8 new plugs and it works like it did before all this started.

Always good to hear when someone replies back with the discoveries of what was causing the problems.
