I was thinking of doing that to mine as a test exercise before it goes to the grave. A Squarevalanche if you will.

My kid was working on a film for a school project and I'm watching the camera operator holding the phone upright. So I explained to him how there are widescreen movie theatres, but no tallscreen theatres. The light bulb came on, but it still amazes me that nobody's gotten the idea from seeing videos all crammed into the middle third of the screen.

P.S. It makes the phone's keyboard larger too. I still fat-finger it a lot, but less than when it's 1/3rd as wide.
