Hey guys my temp gauge is having issues that just started last week.

it just spins and bounces around all over the place basically looks like it is having a seizure.

I know my square body is a 90 so it may be different than the 73-87 gauges.

Any help would be a greatly appreciated.

My first guess would be the sending wire is grounding on something

Should be on the drivers side head...not manifold. My wire was exposed and grounding out, did the same thing.

that was it.

thing looks like it was chewed on and was hanging loose. Most likely came off while driving some forest server roads last week. Will grab another wire to splice it in with tomorrow.
