Been trying to find the how to for hooking these thngs up and haven't been able to find it anywhere. Can somebody get me the link to the thread.

And possably even have a mod make a new thread and sticky it into the interior section.

This is for a Gentex and Donnelly with the 7 pin connector.

And this is for a Gentex and Donnelly with the 16 pin connector.

Thanks Retro that's what I needed. You would not believe all the mirrors at the pull a part yard I went to today.

BTW I got the 7 pin. Still need to go back and grab another for the wifes blazer but I want to get 1 for hers that has map lights also, and didn't have time to look around any longer.

Good luck finding one with map lights they are not easily found. Check the Chrysler Sebrings and Dodge Stratuses.

Avoid the round Donnelly type, they leak.

I got one today from work it has 5 wires. they are black, green/black, purple, solid green, and yellow but it has th 16 pin connector. Will this be an easy one to hook up?

:Edit: ok so in better lighting the purple wire is actually grey.

The purple is probably a faded gray but they may have used purple. Use the 16 pin illustration in my post above.
