Which years and models of GM truck will have an in-tank TBI fuel pump that'll directly swap into the tank on my 1982 1-ton dually flatbed?

The inline pump I bought new is supposed to be a 15 psi, which should be enough, but even after installing new injectors, regulator diaphragm and spring, o-Rings and gaskets, I still get no fuel out the injectors.

What I need is someone local who knows these systems who can point to it and say "There's your problem."

Lunch or dinner on me, I'll even buy you a 6-pack if you're a drinker.

Is your inline pump self-priming? (some are not)

It's an Airtex E8887. I mounted it inside the right frame rail at its lowest point so it's below the bottom of the fuel tank. It doesn't have a reservoir and low pressure pump between the tank and Airtex pump.

I also primed it by wrapping a rag around an air blower and pressurized the tank.
