Our engine bays are probly the most spacious I've see. In any vehicle. So you could fit next to any deck height under the hood.

But then ask yourself. Is it worth it to stuff a 15k engine under the hood of 3k truck??

As Driver4r said, you can fit any deck height in our trucks. But it will not be without problems.

You are going to run into problems with the exhaust first. Taller deck heights move the exhaust location up, causing problems with headers and manifolds hitting things that are not a problem with "standard" deck height blocks. Custom headers are required for the most part.

There will be many other little clearance and reach problems here and there. So be prepared to do a lot of custom stuff or cross referencing for parts that may work.

While I don't agree with Driver4r's analogy of the $15K engine in the $3K truck, I do agree you should make sure this is really what you want to put your money into. I know how you like to build your stuff Down Under!

How big are you thinking anyway?

780 CI, having to get an aftermarket exhaust system, etc. and having to weld and fabricate some relatively simple things doesn't worry me, dads a diesel/ truck mechanic, I want to be a (civil engineer and move to Texas when I'm older, just thought I'd ad that in there) and my mother works at a smash repair shop, yep my family are all into cars and vehicles etc, oh and my father used to own A 1986 GMC C20 Sierra Classic, which he did most of the right hand drive conversion himself, so we luckily know our way around a vehicle.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP GUYS IT IS MUCH APPRECIATED

The four ring pistons are HEAVYslugs. They don't hold up to much rpm.

Not high RPMs is what I like, Now foot pounds of torque at low RPMS, that is what I like. go slow, pull strong. :happy175::happy175::happy175:
