As it says I need a tail light wiring harness. The one that runs along the back of the bed that pugs into the tail light plugs. If you have on let me know how much...

For what year buddy? They made a change in 86 I think it was. I know when I swapped beds on mine, I had to change the light harness too cuz the plugs were different. Unless you want to splice it. I can't remember now if I have one or not. If I do it'll be yours. I may have let it go with I sold the 81 complete harness. I'll have to look and it might be a few days before I can to the shop to find out.

Oh good, so you're not in a dire drastic hurry. I'll look around and see if I can find one. We're talking about just the part at the taillights right? And it plugs into the chassis wiring harness right at the back end of the frame? That one should be the round plug where as in 86 IIRC, it switched to a flat type plug with a locking clip on it.

I may be slow so if anyone else has one, speak up. You might be faster than me and can get to it.

If yours are handy and you can get to them easily and have more than 1, go for it. It could be a week or so before I get to my shop and then I have to look for it. It might be at my dad's even in the cab of one of the truck I have out there.

Who builds wiring harnesses here? I can't think who it is.
