Only other issue i see there would be if the calipers would bolt on and fit over them. But it gives the measurement so i guess a little research would help. Thats a cool idea and reasonably cheap.

The correct application has 5 lugs. He wants six.

Early factory 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive rotors were 6 lug too, and should work on a square.

Seems like there is BOUND TO BE SOMETHING that will "bolt on" correctly, not necessarily "correct" (for that truck) , ..I get what he's after but **** man..GM is freaking WORLD FAMOUS for their parts interchangability! I think all you need to do @78c10bigten is find the right guy that knows. Maybe @WFO already told us! :happy160:

I am unable to think up a better place to find said infos....:happy107:

Was Astro Van ever a 6 lug?
For some reason I'm wondering about an old CAPRICE? But that was a '66...maybe WFO is on to something!

By the description, they are intended for use on earlier trucks when swapping on the later disc brakes such as yours. So the stock 6 lug wheels can be retained on the earlier truck. In other words, they are a bolt-on deal for a C10 with the 1.25 in thick rotors.

They went to 6 lug around '02 or so, but IIRC they also went to unit bearings at the same time.

Yea i kinda thought that, cus it said on 60 to 70 trucks using 70 something to 80 some thing spindals which obviously mine is. But they dont look like theyd come with bearing, wonder if theyd be the same as stock??

I'd assume they would use stock bearings and races.

Not to sound stupid but ive never taken apart a 2wd. Is it just a bearing and race on each side of the rotor? (Front and back)

Yep. With a grease seal on the inside. The dust cap seals off the outside.
