Straightening a tailgate

Does anybody have any good tips on straightening a tailgate? I would like to keep the original one, I just haven’t been able to find good information on how to do it.

If the panel can come off the back, id imagine using body tools or a press and straightening would get it there, but you would have to weld a support piece inside otherwise its just fatigued and will do it again

It's going to be tough to do without some serious bodywork skills. The metal is stretched when it bends, so straightening it with a press will just cause heavy wrinkles and dents.
