I have a factory Delco AM/FM tape in my 76 Suburban. years ago I put dual front speakers in, by the kick panels. right speaker has died and left is on the way.
speakers have improved much since the early 90s. what recommend do U have. I have no idea of the output or ohms or any of that radio stuff. also where to buy.
any help will be greatly appreciated.

thanks, Rod in AZ.

I recently replaced the speakers in my 87 sub. I believe I I got my speakers from crutch field or LMC. Can't remember but work good enough for me and way better than the half working originals.

If I am wrong I'm sure someone will correct me. I believe in 76 gm was still using 10 ohm speakers,I don't think you can still get 10 ohm speakers so go with 8ohms if you use 4ohms you will need 4, 2 per side wired in series.
