Visited my step dads shop today. Snapped some pics for yall.

Includes his two 66 chevy II's, a customers blown 55, a 51 truck 1 ton 4x4 with a 460 that's being made into a welding rig with a custom flip forward hood and fenders.

An 80's camaro, and a whole lot of misc high dollar big blocks. All forged some 1000 hp.

What's the story on the Chevy II with 6" of dust and stuff piled on the hood?

Had it for 25 years. Stricktly strip car. Small block with 2 speed powerglide. Runs consistent 10 sec passes and pulls wheels up to top of guardrail between lanes.

Sat for awhile. Hasn't ran it in a few years. About 12 years ago we pulled it out of the yard, cranked it up, cleaned the mud out of the open headers and it ran a 10.40 same day.

It had a matching hood but had a small engine fire once that ruined it. The car is loud like you woukdnt believe

Dad never really cared about looks. Plus he hated washing them for fear of getting water on the engine. We took it to louisiana once and the guy who takes pics at the strip said "that sure wouldve been a good shot of it pullinb the wheels if it wouldve been clean" lol

He also has a maroon 67 camaro. Not pictured

That's cool! Needs to get that thing out, cleaned up and run it again! :) Looks like he does some pretty significant engine building.
