I have a 1989 gmc jimmy.. Just finished building a 700 hp sbc nitrous motor for it and i brake rubber mounts literally once a weak with the stock 245 hp tbi 350. So i tryed poly mounts mounts.. There a little better but i broke one after a month so im just running it broken right now till the engine and tranny swap. Putting a sm465 with a hydro clutch setup and 4.56 gears on my 33s...... Should be intresting and a very radical ride.. Also doing moser engineering axle shafts and a locker in the back and a spool up front

for my 85 gmc truck, it was solid on the engine side, and same set up on 87 firebird. Now on 67 camaro it is the other way. Maybe mostly year dependent?
if holes line up, following should work:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/upi-0051/overview/year/1987/make/pontiac/model/firebird
or:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/upi-0059/overview/year/1987/make/pontiac/model/firebird

Which it should work as I have used my spare poly mounts from f body on 85 gmc truck

If you have a welder, would be easier to take stock mounts and box them up rather than dropping money on what essentially solid mounts are anyway

Truck mounts and car mounts are opisite of each other. A truck has a soild mount on engine and factory rubber junk on frame and the car is oppisite. Im looking for solid on both motor and frame.

They are not opposite, it's just a design change that happened around '72 (Chevy went to clamshell style). There are some exceptions though, like 4.3 S10 pickups have a mounting style similar to the 60's style.

That makes more sense. Not sure why summit does not list any for squares, when the ones listed for other applications in 80's are the same.
