Thanks for the input. Appreciate it. Decided I won't be doing much until winter. Not sure if I will go with a newer soft ride springs or just remove some leaves, replace bushings and get the leaves cleaned up and painted. Also not sure which shocks I'll be adding.

Definitely an aftermarket lift spring, although I'm not sure of the brand. Poly bushings are a bit worn, but it looks like you have geasable bolts/sleeves.
Yes I installed the bushings and bolts.

Alcan spring in grand junction colorado made me some new rear springs for my 78 c30 dually.....rides GREAT!!! Used to need spine surgery before. They make custom springs for k30 also....just tell them what ride you want. I Like driving the truck now so much I don't mind the awful gas mileage anymore...

I used Alcan as well for custom leafs for my 1981 C10. I just told them how I wanted it ride and what I planned on using the truck for. They came out awesome, rides great.

Good day gentlemen, non- gentlemen, rednecks and to those not covered by the previous 3 descriptions. UPDATE: I have made the following tweaks, mods and repairs this past long winter.
NOTHING... I'm still considering options for softening the ride on this beast that several people said they would never ride in. Others suggested purchasing a kidney belt. Thanks for all the input. I'll keep you posted.

One note here for posterity: spring eye bolts on these trucks have sleeves in them and the bolts should be kept tight.
