Dad used to have a 6.5L, looks similar, having never actually seen a 6.2l I was just curious and thought I`d ask some experts. :)

Its in an 88 CC dually.

Never seen a 6.2 with a turbo, I think it's a 6.5

Yeah that looks like a 6.5, It does'nt look anything like my 6.2

Were you ever able to verify if this was a 6.5 for sure Stump? Is it possible it's a 6.2 and someone added the 6.5 Turbo? I've heard it can be done. But that does look to be a 6.5 Turbo cover on the intake. :shrug:

I did not verify through casting numbers or anything, PO said Original owner had it swapped at the dealer after the 6.2 died, so I can only assume it must have been changed after the 6.2 was unavailable, and is a 6.5.
