Just got finished lowering my truck. I installed front drop spindles, cut 1 coil of the front, flip kit with c notch, and new rear 56in springs 6 leafpack(were 52's). When I put the bed on the rocker in the front measured 1/2 in lower than the rear but to me the front looks high. Was wondering if I should cut another half coil?

I'd drive it for a week or two, and see if the springs settle any further.

No I'd do a small steel shim in the back. The front looks good and well if you go to far you gotta start at square one. Just my .02

I'm getting it aligned this week didn't want to get it done twice. Thought about aligning it and if it was still to high cut half coil off in the spring and realign

I think 2 coils off the the springs would make the truck ride like a conestoga wagon. Much better to get shorter springs and maintain the number of coils.

BTW, I'm curious about the 6-leaf 56" springs. Could you have achieved close the same drop with hangers, shackles and 4-leaf 52" springs w/o having to do the flip kit and c-notch, or did you need the load carrying capability?

The truck had 56in springs on it in the 52in hanger location(i moved the hanger to the correct location) and figured it might give me a slightly smoother ride. Might still have use it as an actual truck from time to time. I still have to clean the hitch up and paint it

The back only looks to be about 1-1/2 to 2 inches lower than the front. It would be easier to shim up the back.

Technically shining the back would lower it

I like the rear to squat a little, so I like it as it is.

In the spring it's gonna get another 350 put in. The current one is with out and has low oil pressure after that was planning on a set of 20's so I'd like it to sit level or slight rake forward
