Any idea where to buy these seat belt box/covers? I haven't seen them anywhere. These are my originals but I'm going a different color.

Thanks.

I have never seen them either, but have seen new style belts that replace those entirely.

Maybe plastic dye or paint?

The new ones look like they even mount differently. I like these alot better than the open spool.

USA1's look to be self-contained. Set up to function like a modern seat belt. I'll be replacing all of mine at some point.

I have never found replacements for the OEM plastic covers. I'm going to have my belts re-webbed (by Seatbelt Planet, $140 ea.), then use vinyl paint to refresh the covers. It will cost me more to re-web, but I wanted to keep the original set up. They have 50 styles/colors to choose from.

On my '79, I bought a kit from Seatbelt Planet. $275 for all 3 belts w/ hardware and covers. It uses an "L" bracket to mount the retractor to the floor. One thing I found they tend to lock more often while driving around than the OEM style.

Thanks for the contacts - I knew you'd know (lol).....sounds like a great way to go. Would much rather have mine redone than go for the odd duck aftermarket stuff.
