Hello, I'm in Tucson. Dad wants me to get his motorhome running so he can sell it. It's got a 1987 Chevy frame and carbureted 7.3 liter 454 engine. Pack rats have chewed many of the vacuum and emission control rubber hoses. I'm looking for a vacuum diagram - especially one that shows where the main manifold vacuum source goes to at the manifold vacuum inlet. Please help.

Howdy from Ohio!

What do you mean by the "main" vacuum source?

Typically, there's a 3/8" hard line that screws into the base of the carb for large items like a power brake booster. For other things like shift modulator, hvac vacuum supply, etc, there is a vacuum "tree" that screws into a rear intake runner on the manifold, near the distributor. They usually have two or three vacuum nipples on them.

A couple of questions. Is it an EFI motor or were the motor homes still carbed? It's a 7.4L.
This is for a California pre 1/1/85 454 k30. Single smog pump, factory no cats with dual exhaust.
