You are certainly helpful @AuroraGirl.You have a eye for details. My hard drive isn’t full by no means, but it’s full of work data, mostly.I can remember quite a bit of driveline and axle info.
The larger modulus number means the frame has either a larger frame shape or more material in the frame since it is completely independent of the material used... not that it is harder or made of a different material. Notice that right above the circled modulus numbers it lists the material, which is the same carbon steel for all frames. Based on the 36,000-39,000 psi number quoted, I would guess they used A36 steel which is a mild steel that has 36,000 psi yield strength. If you have the frame modulus and the yield strength of the material, you are able to calculate almost all of the important load limits of a frame.

I love this thread !! I have a 1987 V20 Camper Special with C6P designation. I have been trying to purchase an aftermarket heavy duty replacement front bumper and vendors keep telling me they cannot provide them for pre-1988. But, the 1988 one tons were still square bodies, so I am thinking front replacement bumper for 1988 V30 will fit my 1987 V20, or at least be within the realm of slight adjustment, am I mistaken ?? Ideas ??

I'm 99% sure that there is 0% difference between the bumper mounting of any 1981 - up squarebody regardless of 10-20-30 designation.
However, unless they specifically offer a bumper for say 1988-91 model "V"30 then they may not be making the differentiation between the GMT 400s which started in 1988 and even before 1991 when the last of the squares rolled off the line, they were producing 1 ton GMT 400s.
Again, aftermarket is sometimes fitting a general body style or range of vehicles, not specific model/year options.
