Ok, so over that last couple of weeks I've been using my Craftsman floor jack a lot and I'm noticing it is not lifting which quite the same "oomph" as it used to. I notice that there is a zerk fitting down at the base of it. Is this where I can insert more hydraulic fluid into it and if I do will that restore it back to it's original performance or is it time to send this thing off to floor jack heaven?

There should be a plug in the side of the cylinder, there might also be instructions on the side of the cylinder for how to fill it.
Usually with the lift all the way down then, fill through the plug hole until it is full. I always use regular jack oil, available from a parts store, usually.
There could also be a removable cover when taken off, exposes the cylinder.
Mine has a zerk onit, at the cross pin what anchors the lifting arm.

The zirc is usually just for the axle/hinge/valve doohickey. You should be able to remove the hydraulic cylinder, and take it apart, replacing the o-rings/seals.
