Tri-power (3x2s) or Sniper 2 for the 350 in my C10?
I have a 3x2 intake and carbs from a ‘68 435 hp 427 Vette. I ran these carbs on my ‘70 340 Duster. I need to refresh/rebuild them as they haven’t been used in 40-years (yeah, I’m a pack-rat for hotrod parts) and I have a line on a Tri-power intake for a SBC.
FI has better gas mileage and is easier as they self correct. But the Tri-power/6-pack has the cool factor.
I’m running a Holley 770 carburetor on an Edelbrock RPM Airgap, Performer Heads, and Mallory Unilight ignition on it now.
