recommend a portable garage..

the place where i had my truck stored has been sold so now i need to get a portable garage to store it.. any body use them and whats a good one.. probly a 10x20.. been looking at shelter logic..

If you just need something to cover it harbor freight sells a canopy type thing that will go from the ground up and then you can just have crushed granite or something similar under it for parking on and not have it in mud (because the grass will die after a while). I am kind of looking at something similar for parking my motorcycles in the back yard so I'd just need to incorporate the use of kickstand pads (so far as surface material) but my goal is to not have them hogging up garage space. This is a link to the 10 x 17 they have for about 180 bucks. Not really bad for what it is. I suspect it would just be good for parking and not much else but it depends soley on your parking surface.

I recommend getting a garage with round top so that wind won't be a problem.

Wind is not usually a problem if you tie them down ok but what you want to make sure of is that they have enough support to shed water and not allow it to pool up and collapse the enclosure. You don't want to know why I know that, lol. I came home one weekend and my 10 x 10 sun canopy had collapsed pretty badly due to the material being water proof but not being supported well enough to prevent the water pool up and bending the frame some.
