Looking to upgrade the radiator for better cooling in my 86 silverado that has an original radiator. Is there a interchangable one from a 3/4 or 1 ton that i can look into that will bolt on without any mods? Or an aftermaket?

A 4-core radiator from a 454 square would do nicely but I think they are wider, you would need the radiator shroud for it too, and maybe the upper and lower mounts.

What's your budget? If you want something that will cool better and fit in the stock locations I would look up an aluminum radiotor on summitracing or jegs. I'm looking for one right now for my 454 because it seems to have a crack in it I have yet to find. On average they will run 20 degrees cooler with a stock thermostat.:chillpill:
