Radiator Shroud

Well I'm the hunt again for more data! I am looking for measurements of a radiator shroud for a 4x4 truck with a SBC 350. I am trying to determine if the one on my truck is stock or not and if possible it has been modified.

I measured the ID of the shroud for the fan blade and got 21 3/8"
I measure the depth of the fan shroud and got 5 1/2"

I also have a 4x4 with no AC if that might make a difference.

I don't have a pic from the top but yes its a 1 piece shroud.

Well it very well could be correct for your year 454s came with a one piece 73-87. The 250,292: 73-80. The 250,292: 81-87. The 305,307,350: 73-77

Im used to seeing the one piece shrouds being quite short. that one is long like the 81-87 2 piece so I dunno

LOL yeah its a odd piece that is for sure. But it seems that it should be a good fit so I'll keep it and not worry about it.

It was just with the fixed fan and a few other oddities I want to make sure this thing is running at its optimal efficiency.

My '77 stock (sbc) shroud looked similar, if not the same. I thought all of them were 1-piece until the 80's?

Well my main concern is that in some pics of the one piece shroud I see a small raised edge near the back side of the shroud. My shroud looks like it may have been altered hence looking for better pictures.

I have a tall 19" shroud that measures 21" OD its on my 3/4 ton 4 core rad. it is about 2 1/2-3" deep. I was thinking of getting a giant single electric fan and fastening it in the opening somehow?

Only thing is I think the biggest fan is 16" from looking online ???

What's up with your shroud anyways? What's the issue?

Nothing is wrong perse. But with all the crap I have found wrong I want to ensure its the proper one lol.
