Hello, this is my first post. I wanted to see if anyone has devised a method to put AN fittings on a Pollack 6 or 3 port tank selector valve?

I was just going to us female AN fittings with a barb and attach to Pollack valve with a very short piece of hose. Any better ideas?

I would like to put the AN fittings on the Pollack valve with the hard line connections but am concerned because the Pollack valve is plastic and I do not want to damage it, or worry about the male port snapping off. Thanks

On most trucks the primary tank sending unit wire is tan (pink when faded), and the aux tank wire is tan / with white stripe. The dash switches between the two wires to change the gauge reading between tanks.

At least this one said hello first. Welcome. Personally I'd use short hoses just like you were thinking, the short hoses would have some flex so less chance if snapping off the port. My short hoses probably wouldn't be super short for that reason. Introduce your self, tell us what kinda truck you have, etc. Have an awesome day.

I hooked up my AN to the pollak valve with a short piece of 3/8 hose like you are planning to. It is the only way to get it done. It has worked fine.
