The ratchet and the steel components of the wrench are manufactured in Taiwan, and the electronics and assembly are done in Malaysia. Our repair / calibration facility is located in Chicago in case anything ever needs to be done to the wrench.

I just asked where this was made in the other thread. Now I see. hmmm??? Guess it's impossible to find a product made totally in USA now days. And we wonder what's wrong with our economy. Looks like a great product, but I'd consider this when it comes to buy a torque wrench.
With the cost of transportation of good these days, I really wonder how much these companies save by using cheap labor and inferior Chinese metals.

Well, we had this USA made product debate on another forum and here's the consensus. If a product is made in the USA it almost definitely will average 3x the price vs something made overseas.

In either case on forums guys will complain about "not made in the USA" or "this is too expensive". If the BLMW torque wrench is everything it's cracked up to be, I'm getting myself an awesome tool for $100. And its distributed by a USA business with a Chicago based calibration facility.

And that's just me talking..not a "site admin"
