Looks to be immediately below the gusset plate for the column/brake booster and just to the right of the bolt.

I believe there are 3 divits or small indentations on the inside firewall just under the cut out for steering. They are at a slight angle. The two outside indentions are for fasteners and the middle one is for you center hole that I think is 2" in diameter. These should help with alignment/positioning.

I could be mistaken though.
