Oil Leak From intake manifold gasket

I think this is my problem, i use 1qt every 400 miles or so. 99% my intake leaks at the back. Oil sender etc are dry.

After 1500 miles my oil breather is dripping oil. I would like to fix it, but at the same time it is a tired old 305 so a used engine sounds better

My engine has the same amount of oil when it is first put in to the time I drain it for another oil change. Doesn't burn one drop. I have no leaks either. If you have a constant oil leak you could very well go through a quart a week. Leaks how ever do not explain oil in the air filter.

Yup. My pcv works. I gave up on factory oil breather because it just filled my air cleaner with oil....

Either keep nursing it along until it don't go no mo and then upgrade, or cut to the chase and upgrade it now. IMHO, not much sense in rebuilding a 305.

That's the plan. Undecided on what motor, might just be unoriginal and get a 350
