Well I baught a set of doors that I was told where oem, how can you tell the difference in them? the paint looks original but when I took the inside panel off and attempted to blow the dirt off with compressed air the paint started to fly off, maybe gm just didn't prep under the inside panel, as soon as you get to the paint that is not covered by the inside panel then its fine, has anyone else experienced this or is this a give away they are repops?

Factory paint doesn't flake off under the door panels. What color coating is under the flaking paint?

Replacements.

Look for other clues to determine if they are GM or overseas replacements. Like remains of stickers.
