finally got back in the shop.
last time I was at the shop, I pulled the intake. We had some big temp fluctuations here last week and condensation was dripping off of everything in the shop. When I got back the other day, there was a coating of rust all over the motor. Not happy...
Bit the bullet and pulled the heads.
Stripped them down, bathed them in kerosene and gave them a good scrubbing. Got the rust off and coated them in wd40.
The block was good and clean, except for the valley and some dirt that made its way to the camshaft. i'm in the process of cleaning that now. I really dont wana pull the cam if I dont have to. Im officially further into a motor than I've ever been.
