So I just purchased a new voltage gauge for my 86' 6.2l, and it is reading in the red just above 8 volts. It does react to key on. (my old one did not hence the reason for replacing)
I checked my actual voltage and it is at 14.6 which is plenty good, but my gauge doesn't read above 9 volts. Is there a wear in process or possibly a faulty gauge? ( I purchased the gauge on LMC)
