I've been working on square bodies for most of my life, but just now got into 4x4's. I got me a '77 K10. I'll get pics up as soon as I can. It has 6" procomp lift springs in the front with 6" blocks in the rear as well as a 3" body lift. It currently is sitting on 40" Super Swampers. I just dropped in an 010 4 bolt 350 from a 77 K5 Blazer. I put new rings, bearings, and all new gaskets. It has a Performer intake with matching Performer 1406 600cfm carb. some cheapo headers, and supercoil with some nice wires to NGK plugs. The movement comes from a TH350 paired with a 203 TCase that routes through a 12 bolt rear and dana44 front that are filled with 3.73's that I was told was locked in the rear and open in the front. It does have dual tanks with rock guards and an 8ft bed with show bar.
I am planning on doing a shackle flip in the rear with 63" springs and a longer shackle to get rid of the blocks as well as to get the rear end back level with the front end. I also plan on ditching the ProComp fronts with some 54" springs and relocating the hangers. The thing rides worse than a tank and I don't really want to scramble my daughters brains just cruising the rivers down here in SE Kansas. It also has some wierd front shock hoops that house 2 in the hoop and a third behind the axle about 9" lower than the other two on each front wheel, as well as dual shocks in the rear in a V shape. 1 in front of the axle, and 1 behind the axle. Also has dual steering stabalizers. All are Ranch 5000's. What do you guys think about this?
Oh, and here is a pic of my daughter Chevelle.
And just for a size comparison, I am 6'5". LOL
