does the brand really matter? they range in price from 43.00 on ebay for a Century Automotive, up to 140 for a Forged Sonnax.

I am not running anything that would required the forged unit, so I am not really considering that.

No one knows i guess. For now i think i will just replace seal and bushing, but considering there is only 8500 miles on the current ones, something created the fail point, so i will probably be doing this again with a new yoke.

Ended up buying an AAP unit. Looks the same only 1/8" shorter then the one i had. No idea if the one i had was even the correct one.

Time will tell I reckon. I've never personally bought a new yoke, always just found another used one or bought whatever the driveline shop sold me when they built a shaft.

It was easier then a yard. I had 2 already. One was leaking from a weep hole (not even correct part then). Plugged it and still wasnt happy. This one was really scored and pitted. So it was only matter of time.

I am alittle annoyed that my tail bushing was worn bad after only 8,000 miles. Im thinking it was the front u joint that vibrated bad every since i installed it? I hope anyway!

Time will tell i guess, but for now it drives as smooth as a k1500 with Gas Magnums probably can, ha!
