Whats up? Im new here and just droppin in to introduce myself. I just got my first square body over the summer. Got it from a dude that drove it with low oil and spun a couple of rod bearings. It had a 350 crate in it that was only 3 months old. I pulled it out and pulled it apart and had the block checked and everything was fine. Was gonna keep it a stock bore 350 because it was basically brand new. Well I ran into money problems and ended up selling the 4-bolt and got a engine from a 95 Tahoe (2-bolt junk) and got it in, ran it for a few hours to make sure it didnt make any noise. Did a cam swap, broke it in and changed the oil, got the timing and carb adjusted and went out that night. That same night I was on the interstate and my oil pressure dropped to 0 so I shut her down and checked the level, it was good and got it towed to my shop. Turns out THIS engine spun a bearing in the bottom end and when we tried to move it from the street to the back of the shop she locked up. Well now Im gettin a shortblock when tax check gets here and I hope it goes well this time lol. Anyway, anything I have done to the truck is in my sig. Any questions ask em away. Ill have a few questions to ask but will post in other areas. Oh heres some pics of the truck. Only ones I have atm.

Hey Irish yeah its a fun bike. Talk about a powerband lol. First time I rode it after my tune and sprocket change I thought my clutches were slippin. Turned around and there was about a 150ft black mark from tire spin lol. Its out of comission right now tho.

Yeah dude, I about **** when I noticed the Tachometer went over 16k. Once you get over 10k its orgasmic with the speed and sound. Please dont tell my you laid it down!!!!

I never modified mine in any way, the thing was plenty of fun right out of the box. The only thing I bought was tires and amsoil for oil changes. I had buddies I rode with, I never really got into the stunting or racing around town but on a nice day we had the most incredible stretch of twisty highway around that we could throw a knee down on. I took that thing on some awesome adventures, usually I would get a backpack full of clothes and GTFO town!

After I had to get rid of it I just consider myself lucky that I lived and will never own another one again.

I laid mine down at about 60 one night but my frame sliders save it. it just slid other than some scratches everything was fine (except for my broke hand and all the damn rash). My bro blew his motor in his 08 R6 so I sold him mine. Im gathering info and parts to swap in a R1 motor

I had no idea you could swap in the R1 motor, that is insane! One of the best bikes I rode was a RZ1 (I think thats what it was called). Its the same engine as the R1 but was configured so you could sit up straight and ride it, that thing was a beast. By far the craziest **** i threw my leg over was my buddies 08 Hyabusa, that one actually scared me. I knew he was going to crash it so luckily I got to ride it before he crashed.

Those pics were without the motor installed. It sat down a lil bit but not much. Ill post some newer pics when I start a build thread. I think whoever had it before me just removed some leaf springs in the rear. That will have to change soon.

FYI a 2 bolt block is not junk, in all honestly the 4 bolt block is no better then the 2 bolt. ONLY way the 4 bolt is worth paying extra for is if it has the splayed main caps.
