I finally found a good forum by accident looking through google trying to find parts. I have a 1985 completely rust free fully loaded silverado K20. 350/TH400. this is it 16 days after purchase on ebay. Yea, those 16 days sucked for me lol.

I just bought a 1999 vortec 454 for it. But am thinking of staying SB. It just rides so nice with a SB in it. I want to put a 700 r4 in it, but its not that easy as i have a 32 spline in put on the 208, 700 have a 27 spline

Pure street truck. No mall crawler either. I was looking for a C10 when I found this 1. I could not pass it up.

Im really not a huge fan of throwing money down the gas tank but these old squares ride soooo much better! with the extra weight of a diesel or big block up front.

Damm, I thought it would just make it nose heavy.

All lifted springs are stiffer then stock and the extra weight helps load the springs to give you a smoother ride.

I had a 6.2 which is just a tad heavier then the BB. I don't miss the low power but I sure miss the way it rode.

Ah, see. I have factory springs front n rear. Rear has a 2nd block.
