Recently brought home an 84 1/2 ton stepside 2wd. Have already started with improvements and repairs. The truck is stock all the way down to the 305 Smog Motor and the original faded and worn through paint.The last owner removed the carpet,except under the seat.

So far we have
Changed the oil and flushed the cooling system
Washed off the moss and green slime
replaced the wiper blades
re upohlstered the seat
installed new carpet
Repaired the sloppy tilt column and broken shifter parts
Replaced the missing horn parts in the wheel and column.
repaired parts of the door panels ( still missing parts for the door straps)
Removed the old reciever trailer hitch
removed the aftermarket cruise control
Dropped the front 4.5" with spindles and springs
dropped the rear 5.5" with a low buck flip
replaced the front brake pads and greased the wheel bearings, new seals

coming soon
replace rear brake shoes
bleed the brake system
paint the wheels
New tires so that at least the two front and the two rear match each other
recover the headliner
install radio
clean and paint gauge bezel
replace the wood in the bed

I'm sure I'll find more like electrical mysteries to repair
