Hi, Guys- I'm new to this site, too. I've always had Chevy trucks, as old as a 1950, and as new as the '84 K10 I have, now.
The current truck has some electrical issues I'm sorting through. Nothing to keep me from actually using the truck, just some things that I haven't figured out, yet- voltmeter inop (probably needs replacing) and door locks (power) that don't allow me to get in the driver's door, sometimes. there's a battery drainage issue that is only a problem if the horn/dome light/clock fuse is in. Typical stuff that broadens our horizons, and tests my patience.
Anyway, I'm here and glad to learn from you guys.
